We spent a lovely weekend break at Thoresby Hall, it's a majestic country house set on the parklands of Sherwood Forest. To be honest we were sold by the location, country house and reviews from local neighbours. The fact it's only for adults wasn't really a selling point, we obviously didn't want a club 18 break, but whether families were allowed to stay or not made no difference to our decision. It was just a fabulous opportunity to stay overnight in a 18th century Grade I house with fine food and evening entertainment. It also included all the other luxurious facilities such as a spa and health and beauty facilities, which all meant for a relaxing time. With friendly staff, good food & wine, large rooms and a well laid out location it's the perfect weekend break.
