Electronic Scales have become much more popular in the last decade mainly due to the decrease in price. And the fact they are more accurate than a mechanical scale. Salter 1001 Glass Kitchen Scale
The first thing you notice is how nice it looks and how incredibly accurate it is. It is a little expensive, but with a guarantee for 10 years you should get value for money. Fault developed, the scale has started showing "----" on the small electronic LCD display. This means it's going back to Salter for repair, but as a we do not possess the receipt; and are just hoping they'll honour their guarantee.
