Samsung C100

I think its the best mobile now days with its sleak and sexy look
and with all important functions such as the 65k Colour Screen,
Downloadable JAVA games, Polyphonic ringtones and WAP Compatible.
I currently can't afford a C100 but have seen one in my local shop
and it is simply stunning. I recommend anyone have a look at the
c100 before buying their new mobile handset, because I am sure they
will pick the c100.

- I have had this phone for 11 months now and how it has survived
I don't know! Its so frustrating to use! The major thing i dislike
about it is the poor battery life, its nowhere near the quoted specifications
and likes to switch itself off in mid call. Connectivity is poor,
it doesnt even feature Bluetooth! It does have Ir-da though!
Another lil thing that annoys that you cant assign new downloaded
tones to different people in your phone book, you have to use the
default ones. Im not bothered by this however but some people i
know who also have this phone are.
There are not many features available either, for instance no media
player, and its incompatable with MP3 and wav files. The speaker
however is excellent, really loud on the max setting. Unfortunately
though you cant have vibrate alert and tone on at the same time.
You can have one after another, but by the time realise its your
phone going in your pocket the vibrate stops then you cant hear
the tone (pub scenario!) so yet another missed call!
On the upside the screen is excellent and the camera picture quality
is good too!
Lookswise its one of the best looking phones around but i\d much
rather have a phone with more features, easier to use and better
battery life. Samsung lovers will probably love it but if you're
used to Nokia/motorola phones then give it a miss.

Samsung X600

User rating -
- The X-600 is a great phone. Very compact but packed with lots
of features. The phone has got a high quality Camera which can be
rotated 180 degrees; very handy if you want to take self portraits.
It also has a flash, actually it's more like a small torch but works
at short distances. Something which i didn't like is the screen.
although the x-600 has a 65K screen, it doesn't compete with other
screens with such a resolution. The pictures look kinda yellowish
and photos look like they've been taken with the sepia option, in
fact, if you take a photo in sepia mode you won't see much difference.
But anyway, you realise that the camera is of good quality when
you transfer a photo onto a computer. All in all, if you don't mind
the screen, i suggest that you buy this phone.
