Rover have recently returned to British ownership after a troubled spell under BMW. Since then Rover have released the MG range of the Rover 25, 45 and 75. Rover has thus remained one of the UK's biggest selling car manufacturers with increased sales since the change of ownership away from BMW. Rover still continue to manufacture their cars at the Longsbridge Plant. Updated, the plant recently closed.

City Rover Sprite

My first impression was "oh its quite nippy " but as soon as i turned the first courner i realised what terrible handling this car has ! You point the steering wheel in the direction ya want to go, it sways
all over the shop then you have to steer more to make it round the courner. At higher speeds on motoways you have no confidence in doing any kind of manouver.I thought this car was genuinely scary and found myself gripping on for my life "at least it keeps you alert". On the whole the build quality is rubbish with lose trim screw all over the car, that dont give you much hope of the mechanical parts being securly tightend ether. Its cheep, it smells of paint get high of the fumes on a brand new one. It handles like a bed on castor wheels, Technically suffers from understeer" Squeels round every courner even at 20 mph.

My view is the Nissan micra, Ford Ka and an E reg toyota starlet are all streets ahead of this motor car !
