 Facts

Riley are number one brand for snooker and pool cues, tables and accessories in the UK. The price range of the cues varies massively with cheap low grade cues starting at around 20 pounds going up to ash wood snooker cues which cost hundreds of pounds. We purchased a 40 pound riley snooker cue which was a cheap price and the graphite cue seemed of a high standard for such a cheap price. The Riley pro action snooker cue which comes in two pieces with a hardwood butt and coloured inlays. The Riley match cue kit which has a spliced hardwood butt and comes with brass joints and ferrule and is 145cm long. The Riley Quaser snooker cue in made with a solid timber core permanently encapsulated with graphite for extra strength, durability and warp resistance. The Riley Quaser snooker cue also has a ebonised maple butt with natural front splice and coloured veneers and has a 10mm tip, also includes a polyester carry case. I bought a Riley Snooker cue on ebay once. It looked like a great cue - trouble is it never arrived, but looked like a nice cue though ! Because of this i rarely now shop on Ebay because I can't be bothered to buy something again and for it not to arrive, it was really annoying. I have since bought the same snooker cue from Argos for £40 and it plays excellent and seems very good value for money and as well made as it looks. For the standard of player I am, I can't see how a more expensive snooker cue could play as well as the cue I have. For those wondering it is the black Riley snooker cue made from graphite metal I think.
