I had to replace my remote because the design of the battery cover thingy broke, and the plastic cover kept falling off. I really didnt like the look of the controller without the battery cover, it looked a mess with tape keeping it on. The same problem occured with a friends remote as well. In the end i decided to replace and pray i do not need to replace the batteries. I also just dont like the general look and feel of it, it looks cheap and colours look dreadful. Compared to most televisions remotes it looks a mess, and really cheap and nasty.
