Question:
My three lease on my company car - a Golf GTI TDi Anniversary expires
very soon. As you may know there are only 900 in the country and
I am wondering whether I should sell it for a profit. The car has
done around 60,000 miles, and I was wondering what kind of price
it would get?
Answer:
The Anniversary edition is much sort after, and was around £1100
more than a standard TDi GTi when new. It was also more powerful
than the standard GTi in terms of bhp. The problem is that 900 isn't
that low a number, so the car isn't that rare a thing. Trade guides
only put a modest premium of £200 extra for the anniversary
model. I would think you could hope to advertise for around £9,000
and hope to sell at around £8,750.
