Description - The Psone has prehaps been the best games console
in history in terms of quality and quantity of games. A prime example
of this is Grand Turismo series of games, which are by far the best console
racing game on any pal console platform.

Since the introduction of the Psone / PS1 in the UK, it has been the console with most amount of games and in most people's opinion the best games. Such games such as Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Grand Turismo, Metal Gear Solid and Colin Mcrae rally were first released on the PS1 consoles. This is probably the main reason the Psone has been the most popular console in the UK because of the games available on it. Other machines such as Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast and Microsoft Xbox have been better machine for hardware and performance, but have never had the quality or quantity of games the Psone PS1 did.

Metal Gear Solid - Platinum
Must be the best game on the PS1, Metal Gear Solid is an all time great PlayStation favourite. The gameplay emphasizes stealth over firepower and cunning over force and this includes VR Missions. You have the task of infiltrating a terrorist hideout and rescueing some hostages. You also have more than 30 different offensive and defensive weapons it appears to the third person blaster crew as well. Metal Gear Solid is a game you must buy right now, as you are in for probably the greatest videogame experience available on the PS1.
