Ideal if you need a replacement remote control, the major downside?,
the price. I needed a replacement remote for my Hitachi 32LD6600
tv, the price they wanted was £129.99. I was staggered by
the price, it seemed far too high for a basic remote. I ended up
going elsewhere and buying a universal remote that works for any
tv. It was only £20 and that was the price I was expecting
Partmaster to quote as well. The site is well designed and easy
to navigate. It also seems very good at locating parts. But the
prices seem unfair to say the least.

Now that dixons has been rebranded as currys connect, now partmaster
direct has been changed into currys partmaster. I recently required
a spare battery for acer aspire laptop, my old one had been charged
day in day out for the best part of two years. For the past six
months the battery life has lowered considerably, until I was lucky
to get twenty minute out of it. The replacement was hard to come
by, I phoned the Acer International number, visit my local electronics
expert by the delivery delay was weeks if not months. Similarly
there really isn't many parts and spares sites out there in the
UK. Google only came up with up with plenty of spares, repairs,
mounts etc for laptops, but none stocked my specific laptop battery.
The lithium ion version cost £77.99, which was more than I
expected to pay, considering my whole laptop only cost £400.
The site was easy use, delivery came on the correct day, shame about
the price.
