The only benefit I found with onetel is they are very cheap. I signed up on the basis of using the service for international calls, but I found problems from the start. I did not always connect on international calls to America, and the line quality was also poor. Most times it was difficult to have a conversation, and this is the example you want to set in business.

Well they do one thing well, they will bill you regularly. Otherwise I found the customer service to be downright disgraceful. This company seems to branched into various other named businesses, but I guess their service quality is the same, BAD. The main benefit with onetel is the tariff they offer with free weekend and evening calls. At other times they then basically put you on pay as you use, which I didn't mind because I use my phone only during the evening. I really haven't any complaint's about the level of the actual phone service, I doubt even onetel could screw this up, but once you deal with the customer service you release how bad the company are in this respect. If you never need to contact them with a problem you will be a happy customer.
