The North Face manufacture high quality outdoor clothing and equipment. The North Face were formed in1966, when two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store and since 1969 have been developing high performance mountaineering apparel and equipment. There most popular mountaineering items they produce are jackets, rucksacks, sleeping bags for arctic conditions and tents which have triangulated designs.

The North Face Evolution TriClimate Jacket
I got this jacket mainly for watching football in the winter. There
are plenty of other similar jackets and they are all probably fine,
but I was advised at the shop I got this from that The North Face appears
to be the most popular of all the makes. The jacket is designed for
mountaineering and other outdoor activities like camping, not that I
do any of these. Wearing this jacket is like donning half a sleeping
bag and after two years of use, my only complaint is a slight leakage
along the sleeves. North Face maybe expensive but there jackets and
clothes look great and really keep you warm.
