Since the 1980's multi gyms has been a common feature in many homes and garages. One of the main reasons is probably because people are too self conscious to go to their local gym. Or it's just so much more simple and cheap to work out at home. A gebarl multi gym should include,

  • Selectorised weight stack
  • Dual function press arm (for bench, incline and shoulder presses)
  • Pec fly arms
  • High and low pulley stations
  • Back pads for added lumber support
  • Lat bar
  • Rotating straight bar
  • Ankle strap

When finding space for a multi gym, you generally need these space for these proportions,

  • Height - 211cm
  • Width - 110cm
  • Length - 170cm

Weider Pro

When browsing a range of multi-gyms at my local fitness store i picked this one from Weider because it seemed well built and very heavy. Setting it up wasnt an easy task, and took me around 6 to 8 hour. Thats what the instruction manual states and they are correct, I also had help from a friend because someone needs to hold different parts while another tightens it. I wouldn't suggest this is the perfect machine, I do not like the preacher curl bench for example.
