Mackams briefs

I got these briefs at a really cheap price and they looked really nice in the packaging. When I first tried them they initially fitted well. The problem occured when I washed them for the first time, two out of the three pairs literally disintegrated on the waist band. I had followed the washing guidelines supplied, so I am unsure why this occured. I guess it comes down to the fact that some goods are good quality and some total rubbish.
