H.D Lee founded the H.D mercantile company in Salina, Kansas in 1889. His first plan was to make reliable and tough work clothing. They are currently headquartered in Merriam, Kansas, and are owned by the VF Corporation. Currently Lee jeans are sold in over 20 countries worldwide . They are still a major competitor to Levi, albeit still second place.

Lee Jeans Nash Relaxed

Tough jeans that fitted pretty good but not perfect. I mainly got them for working in the garden and rambling. At £25 they were about my budget and as I am getting too old to be bothered with what is fashionable I think they look pretty good. After a couple of months of wearing them they haven't faded or shrunk which was my major concern. Good pair of low cost men's jeans.

Lee compete with Levi the world over to be the top denim maker, and like most of the jeans companies from the US they were founded through making tough work clothes. Lee jeans and clothes are usually a little cheaper in price to Levi.
