ID Software are one of the world's most famous and popular computer game producers who have made such titles as Quake and Doom. You can now find games such as Quake which are now on version 3 and will continue to improve and be released in another form. Quake 4
I bought this game from Amazon for just £16 recently, I have never been a massive Quake fan but at this price i wanted to test the game on my new SLI rig (two 7800 GT cards). Well this game just blew me away, the single player action has a plot unlike all the previous lame attempts in Quake 1 and 2. The graphics are stunning, and the movement and gameplay the best I've played in any fps (even better than Call Of Duty which i love). I have tried the multiplayer a few times but the standard of players online just destroyed me :(. The thing i dislike with Quake multiplayer is all the different things you can pick up to make you go faster or have 4 times the killing damage. For new players it makes it very difficult to learn all the locations and you end up being frag fodder. But if anyone is looking for a low cost heart pumping fps then they should look no further. Simply awesome.
