Posted on n/a Goodmans 40w Having tried to purchase a Goodmans 40w Hi Fi system, I was dissapointed first because the built in record deck Vibrated and made the artist on the record sound like he/she had a mouth full of marbles having returned this one and being replace by another in which case the Speaker was damaged and scratched and that the fact that the CD player would not play a single CD or Three and having read the instructions 3 0r 4 times it appears not to want to play any CD's no matter what. All I can say is Goodmans have you ever heard of Quality Control? If so let's have some please. I have now returned this Hi Fi Again and look forward to the same model. Like they say £rd time lucky! If I get one that does what is meant to do then I will update my rating but until then sorry but it only scores very bad in my books. I am sorry to say say that the product quality control is very poor as I could not play a single DVD in my player. It doesnt go to process mode. just keep the blue light on for ever. Can some one send me or direct me to a web where i can down load the service manual for the DVD player. Posted on n/a Goodmans GDVD306R I purchased the above tv out of the kays catalogue 0n 29 March 2006 in january 2007 the tv failed to work. I reported the defect and was told that an engineer would call to have a look, and to date there as been no repair. Now the warranty has expired i am constantly on the phone and just get passed from one department to another with no joy. Today 30 April i have been in touch with the Office of Fair Trading because i am disgusted with the level of aftercare service from Kays catalogue mr lindley User Rating -
