This section is dedicated to golf and golfing equipment such as
clubs, balls, clothing and equipment such as golf bags. This section
includes information about golf makes and reviews from people about
golf clubs, balls and equipment. Golf isnt the cheapest sport to
start playing. The cost of equipment can be high, that's if you
want professional quality. You can buy a basic set of clubs from
low cost brands such as Howson for £150. If you want the best
then a set of Titleist clubs can set you back at least £600-£800.
Along with plenty of balls, and a good bag you can add another £100
on this. As a beginner we would recommend at least a medium priced
set of clubs from say Dunlop / Hippo (£200-£400). Golf
is maybe the top sport that relays on the quality of equipment.
A good set of clubs can take shots off your handicap.

Titleist 975D Driver

I have had this Titleist driver for 5 months and couldn't be happier
with what a great purchase it was. No matter if you currently drive
the ball high or low, this driver will not balloon on you. I have
find that it provides both excellent distance and the control feels
solid. I would say that the Titleist 975D driver is aimed at the
above average to excellent golfer and as I play off scratch I find
the club isn't very forgiving. A friend of mine who play around
a 100 had a round with it and hated it, just couldnt use it. Overall
I have found it much better than my previous Callaway Big Bertha
Driver as I was just never comfortable with it.
