GA-7VT600 Gigabyte Board

Dont use a ati 9200 agp card with 8xagp and 128meg ddr on this board. This motherboard wont post with this card installed. I found out the hard way. I had to try 3 ati 9200 cards, before I had to down grade to a ati 9000 4x agp with 64 megs ddr cause i didn't have another 300.00 bucks for a newer ati card. Gigabyte has no solution for this problem listed on there web site, so beware.

Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L

I bought this board because the most recent failure of my previous Aopen motherboard to handle Windows XP installation. Since I have installed the Gigabyte motherboard it has has performed flawlessly for me so far and after a month of running. The motherboard is a fairly well layed out board and the well illustrated instruction manual helped me a lot in the setup procedure. Installation was quite easy and I personally think it's easier to install the cpu and fan with the board outside the case like the Gigabyte manual stated. The bios on this board is exceptionally full featured and should be enough to keep most tweakers satisfied. A good buy at a cheap price, may not satisfy extreme hardware nuts.
