Fila have been making quality sports clothing for over 90 years and was founded by the The Fila family of Biella, Italy. Fila's global popularity occurred in the 1970's when Fila increased and refined its production and became a global fashion label. Present day Fila manufactures sports clothing for tennis, skiing, swimming, mountain climbing, sailing, soccer, basketball, golf, fitness, and running. Fila also sponsors some of the world's elite athletes across several sports and the Fila brand has become famous for its technical superiority and style. The company was bought in 2007 for 400 million dollars. Fila is now a South Korean company, and it's chairman and CEO is Yoon-Soo Yoon.
