You can now book tickets for cross channel ferry journeys from
the UK online. All the major ferry companies such as P&O are
available and you can find the timetables online from travel websites
such as OTC. You book ferry journeys on all the major routes such
as Dover - Calais, Folkestone - Calais, Amsterdam - Newcastle, Portsmouth
- Jersey and many more. One ideal reason to book your ferry tickets
online is that you can search around for the best prices and for
late availability crossing if you want to get a bargain. You can
post reviews here for the best websites to find the lowest ferry
crossing rates and which ferry companies had the best service, such
as if they were on time or not. This can help other users gage who
they should be booking their ferry tickets with and whether to go
for late availability.

P&O Ferry Crossing - Review
Booked a late availability crossing to calais which was ideal because
I only wanted to a day trip to buy some cheap wine and beer. I found
the best prices were online compared to my local travel agent and
saved over ten pound by doing it at the OTC website. As I take a
trip over to France every couple of months or so to save cash on
wine and beer I find it much easier to book online because it means
me not having to travel into Croydon between 9-5 to book a ticket.
As I work those hours it doesn't make it very convenient, and as
I go to France on Saturdays I don't want to booking on that day.
I usually go by P&O ferry because I trust them the most, what
with them being the main operator, the smaller ones worry me a little
and never seem as nice inside.

Summary of Ferries
|
|
|
|
Ferries tickets have become cheaper due to the comeptition of the
channel tunnel and cheap flight operators such as Ryanair and Easyjet.
Therefore it is a good idea to search around online and find the
best / low / cheap prices for ferry tickets. There are lots of websites
online which allow you book tickets online.
