Eidos have produced some of the best games ever created, one only has to think of the Tomb Raider series of games. They may not be the games design company which creates the game, but they are responsible for backing and production, and making sure we know about the game. I once saw a television programme following the inner working of Eidos, it was interesting because I hadn't realised how much work goes into producing a computer game. They can now take 3-4 years to produce, and many end up losing lots of money. It's only a few which end up being a cash cow. Nice to see they support UK games companies, like with Tomb Raider which i believe is designed in Derby, England. I just hope this company keeps producing such great titles.
