Curtains are a household item placed in front of windows to cover them when it's dark or for privacy. There are quite a few items needed for a basic curtain setup such as;

A curtain, also referred to as 'drapes', are most commonly found in a living room or bedroom. Rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms tend to incorporate blinds, but curtains are still popular. Curtains can also be used for a shower, to block water instead of light. Ready made and custom made curtains are both available. The styles, colours and sizes are to numerous to list. Some extra features of a curtain, to be considered by any prospective buyer, are resistance to fire, ability to block noise, retaining dust, and the speed to deteriorate via ultra violet rays.
It's possible to categorise three main types of curtain, graded by their ability to absorb light and insulate warmth.
Sheer curtain, made from polyester or a cotton, thin, they allow a maximum amount of light to transmit through them.
Uncoated curtain, a thicker and tightly woven fabric, capable of blocking the majority of light and provide reasonable heat insulation.
Coated curtain, again made from tightly woven material, rubber polymer
is applied to the fabric to provide maximum light and heat insulation.
