In 1907, André Citroën discovers the automotive industry, when he is brought in to help Mors, a troubled car manufacturer based in Paris. He accepts the challenge of turning the company round and sets to work. With some 10,000 sales outlets around the world, Citroën now generates 70% of its sales outside France and its international ambitions are clear.

What got me to take a test drive was seeing the crash test rating
of the c3. Safety plays a big part in the cars I buy as I have 3 children.
I also watched top gear with my husband and saw the c3 driven head on
into another car at 30mph and the test driver walked from the c3 with
no injury, and amazingly could still open and close his door perfectly.
I was too taken with the looks of the c3 to start with but they have
since grown on me and this car really does have personality. The 1.4HDi
Turbo Diesel is punchy and quiet and as a diesel does great mpg. The
only disappointment is the rear leg room and high up driving position.
But apart from that I am very happy with it.
