Gamecube 4mb memory card

Even though it has never gone wrong I do feel a little ripped off after buying my 4mb Gamecube memory card with my Gamecube when it was first released. Now that all the memory cards on the Gamecube are mainly 8mb it feels at though Nintendo have ripped off their most loyal customers who buy their hardware when first released. It's the same who the Gamecube console price. This memory card is a portable data storage device and it will allow you to save game setting and progress as well as record statistics and swap characters. This is useful for taking game data to a friends machine, but with 4mb you won't get much space. Good but shame about the saving capacity.

Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker

The best game so far released on the gamecube so far, definitely better than Mario Sunshine. To start with I was a little worried it wasn't very good due to fact you were on a small island and everywhere you looked was the sea. Completely different to previous Legend of Zelda games. But I soon began to love sailing my boat and the graphics are A1, the reason I got the Gamecube for. Even the game does seem a little childish graphics wise, the gameplay is definitely for adults. I got the Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker from Game for £35 mainly because it was a limited edition version of the Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker which included Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time from the N64. A must buy for all Gamecube owners, simply astounding.

Waverace Blue Storm

I found the game very hard going to start with but after a couple of hours I began to get the hang of it. The graphics and realism are 10 out of 10 and as ground breaking as Wave Race on the N64 which I also owned. The downfall with both games in my opinion in the gameplay and automatic catch up especially. I find the controls of the jet-ski far too difficult and when you get onto the extremely hard courses the controls just aren't up to the job. Automatic catch up also ruins the game, because you can do 2 and half perfect laps and be leading from the start but make just one mistake and your the back of the pack. I mean you manage to overtake the other jet-ski's in about 20 seconds and fly by the them and then suddenly they manage to keep up with your perfect lapping. Really annoying. But saying that the game is worth buying for the graphics and realism alone and overall the game is good.
