Getting the right quality camping equipment is very important if
your travelling to countries with extreme temperatures. The kind
of brands you should be considering are Aztec, Terra Nova, The North
Face, Vango, Vaude, Wild Country and Wynnster. The essential camping
equipment needed by every traveller is a tent, sleeping bag, cooking
utensils and a rucksack. Of course buying top quality camping equipment
isn't exactly cheap. Therefore it may be best to check discount
retailers like Argos who sell brands from the lower end of the market
if your on a budget.
The amount of camping equipment currently is massive. Some additional
items you should consider are camping tents which come with waterproof
flysheets, waterproof seams, detachable groundsheets, nylon inners,
water resistant finish and hardwearing groundsheets (that come with
guylines, pegs and carrybags). For those on a more comfortable camping
trip items such as folding chairs and tables, camp beds, camping
mats, gas micro stoves, lanterns, camping burners and grills, camping
cooksets, flasks and mugs, cool bags, ice blocks, foot pumps, sleeping
bags and mummy sleeping bags should be considered.

Terra Nova Laser

I purchased this tent from Terra Nova, because I was informed the
Laser model is currently the lightest 2 person two-skin tent currently
available. Theminimum weight is only 1.15khg, which will hopefully
make travelling easier, for what I plan will be ultra lightweight
backpacking. The carbon fibre pegs weigh just 4.5 grammes each as
well. I've practised pitching the tent in mt back garden, and it's
certainly comfortable as well, with a spacious inner tent and porch.
At 230cm in length I can easily fit in with plenty of space, and
I feel this will be more than useful for planned camping break in
three weeks time.
