After the recent adverts on the tv with free itunes when you signup
with BT broadband I thought i would give it a go. I was currently
on a pay as go dial-up service because i dont use the internet much.
My experiences with BT have been mixed in the past, because my phone
line had static on it for years and BT never seemed to fix the problems
in repeated attempts. This has never helped my web connection speeds.
I found the installation of BT's software not the easiest to be
honest, and thats the only draw back, apart from that I've had months
of problem free web surfing. And the free itunes downloads went
down well with my daughter.

I found the BT Yahoo software is easy to install. The software
also came in a well packaged bundle, and of course arrived safe
and promptly by royal mail. The service from BT has been good and
the best part is the emailing features. I went with BT because they
were a safe bet, but of course far from being the cheapest option.
The big let down is they do not offer unlimited user allowance bandwidth,
which means for people working all day online they cant run out
of time and download. Overall for me personally I made the right
choice.

Let me be brief about the BT service, I've found that the speeds
are fine. the one let down Sunday night, which must be the night
when most people go online. This means that whenever things on the
net seem to slow down, it's always down to the volume of usage.
As BT run the show you would think they could sort this problem.
I never had this problem with AOL. Apart from this one downer all
in all though, Im satisfied with the service from BT.
