Bosch dishwasher
My dishwasher is two and half years old. It's now broke down, and refuses to start a wash cycle. The manual it came with does not provide any simple diagnostics tests. The machine has an LCD display and I'd have assumed it doesn have fault and test finding codes. But it appears Bosch do not wish their customers to diy fix their machines.

Bosch SGV53E03GB - Fullsize integrated dishwasher
I purchased my first dishwasher over 20 years ago, and therefore I didn't have clue which dishwasher to buy after my faithful hotpoint gave up the ghost. In the end I choose a Bosch because I loved the new look. After I read my manual, the controls which are very important became easy to understand and use. Every load since I purchased my dishwasher have come out absolutely spotless. This dishwasher performs better than my Hotpoint I bought over 20 years ago and overall I am happy with it.
