Boots have a nice range of hay fever relief products and general
sun protection. Me and my children have sensitive skin and also
suffer from hay fever so we were in need of summer protection products
for our holiday in the south of France. The Boots website seems
to have changed from the beauty orientated wellbeing into a website
just like their shops for general health products. When i bought
hay fever relief products and sun protection lotions online I was
also able to put the sales on my advantage card. As I use this all
the time at Boots high street shops I was glad I wouldn't miss advantage
card points online.

I have just begun using the Boots website since it changed from
Wellbeing and am glad I can collect points on my advantage card.
With over 13,000 products to choose from, it's easy to collect points
- particularly as you get 4 points for every £1 spent. I can
then use these advantage points to buy products in Boots shops or
website or to buy air fare. You can also boost your points faster,
by looking out for additional points offers and events online and
in-store and visit the Advantage Point machines in Boots larger
stores. At least it means you dont miss out on collecting points
while shopping online and in someways there are better points schemes
online than at high street Boots shops.

Since visiting the UK from the US it great to know you can get
the Boots 3 for 2 offer online, I am still trying to find out whether
Boots online ship to the US however. I am wanting to buy John Frieda
Sheer Blonde Platinum / Champagne Shampoo, which is on 3 to 2 offer.
Because I live in the US I plan to buy in bulk and this means if
I buy 60 bottles I can hopefully get 30 free. I emailed Boots today
about whether they allow you to buy in bulk and whether they ship
to the US, hopefully I will a positive reply to buy. You guys in
the UK are really lucky to have a high street health chain like
Boots, we have nothing like it in the US.

Service
Service at the Boots in Whetstone N20 has gone downhill.
one has to wait ages to be served, the staff seem larthargic
and unwilling to serve. Even at lunchtime they only have one
slow general till open. Go elsewhere if you haven't all day
to wait to be served!!

I have given Bthe Boots store on Bedford a 3 because the
service is relatively good. Just sometimes you have to wait
a while to be served. Saying that, its the same wherever you
go. Great 3 for 2 deals at christmas and great gifts choice.

Boots Ladyshave
Your website doesn't seem to seek anything other than complementary
feedback, so I don't know if you will take any notice of this.
For several weeks, I have been attempting to obtain a replacement
part for my Boots Ladyshave - a Boots own brand product -
and the staff at your Stourbridge branch have been unable
to obtain it, nor a date when it might be expected. My last
visit to the branch was earlier today when they suggested
that I should try Merry Hill branch. I thought they might
have had the intelligence to already have phoned around other
branches but were, instead, now suggesting that I should travel
to Merry Hill myself. After some pursuation, they did telephone
Merry Hill to discover that they did not have the part in
stock either. I am struggling with an implement that does
not work well due to needing a replacement part and your the
attitude of your staff would seem to be a long way away from
'the customer is always right'. I would be very grateful if
you could do something to get things moving but, having seen
how your people have responded thus far, I am not expecting
to hear anything. My E-Mail address is "********"
and I live in Stourbridge, West Midlands.

Boots website is just about the most useless I have ever tried
to shop from. I use contact lens and need Boots products for sensitive
eyes, impossible to buy on the site. They should learn from M&S
or Tesco,s , Sainsbury or any other retailer who inhabits the 21st
century-----absolutely dreadful!.
