 Angels and Demons Reviews

I just finished Angels & Demons. This one is the prequel to The DaVinci Code. It's about a Illuminati plot to blow up Vatican City. Lots of twists and turns with a ton of symbology(apparently, all of Rome is plastered with Illuminati symbols!). Before I read this, my idea of the Illuminati were of some organization that rules the world in secret. According to this author their goal is to show that science supercedes religion and destroy the Church. In the book, the author says that they started as a group of scientists who met in secret so they wouldn't be persecuted by the Church.
