Ben Sherman were founded in 1963, and were the company to first produce the "Oxford style" button-down men's shirt. The founder Ben Sherman then left the company, the brand pretty much left the consciousness of most shoppers. That was until the re-launch in the mid 1990's, the brand are currently the 4th-largest men's casual wear brand in the UK. Ben Sherman are well known for their mens and ladies shirts, t-shirts, jackets and a range of other fashion accessories. About Ben Sherman - Ben Sherman are one of the most famous names in British fashion for making quality men's shirts. They first became very famous in the 1960's by mods wearing Ben Sherman shirts. Their clothing designs often feature the logo and colors of the Royal Air Force. Nowadays they still make men's shirts, but also make Ben Sherman shoes, suits, trousers, boots and a range of other clothes. The shirts often have unusual and complex designs, and feature the Carnaby Fit style of fitted shirts.

The short sleeved shirt itself can be described as straight casual-cut
with a button-down collar, breast pocket with small embroidered label
