Armani are one of the best known fashion brands around and was created by Giorgio Armani who is Italian. Armani are always one of the main stays of top fashion weeks such as New York, London, Milan and Paris. Giorgio Armani was born 11 July 1934 in Piacenza, Italy, and is most noted for his menswear. Armani first entered the Designer Denim while working as a window dresser at the department store La Rinascente. And during the years 1961 to 1970, worked as a apprenice designer under the great Nino Cerruti. It took until 1974 until he established his own company with friend Sergio Galeotti. His international fame came later in the 1980's when he started tailoring for Hollywood stars like Richard Gere for many of his 1980's breakthrough films. Presently he is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
