I signed up for the blue card online, the form is simple
and takes a few minutes to fill out. It also includes a list
of criteria you will need to meet to be accepted. A friend
of mine did have problems with the form because his previous
address was international, and this was the first year he
had spent in the UK. But for me the online application process
was a breeze. I decided to change cards after my annual fee
was raised £37 on my current card. I'd had enough. The
last six months have been first class, with excellent customer
service when I've phoned with a query, and a flexible and
accommodating APR rate. The cashback rate is the best on the
market. I've had nothing but an excellent service from the
blue card from Amex. I am sure that as long as I am a responsible
customer, I will have no problems from this company. After
talking with a friend I just hope I can get a American Express
Centurion card someday. This looks like the most useful and
most rewarding American Express card to use. But as I am not
a heavy credit card user I doubt I will ever be invited to
this exclusive club. My friend was apparently spending more
than £10,000 per month. And of course paying this amount
off each month as well :). To get back to my blue card, the
only minor problem has been that not every business accepts
it. I found that my last Mastercard was accepted at more places.
