The first car in 1920 saw production of the very first car with the Alfa Romeo logo: the Torpedo 20-30 HP. The Alfa Romeo logo consists of two Milanese symbols: The Visconti serpent on a pale blue background and the red cross on a white background, enclosed in a metallic circle with the words ALFA and MILANO separated by two Savoia dynasty knots. Alfa 147 becomes Car of the Year 2001. The international jury for the "Car of the Year" Prize, composed of 56 specialist journalists representing 21 European countries, awarded the 2001 title to the Alfa 147.

Alfa Romeo 146 2.0 Ti 2.0
This style of the 146 2.0 Ti 2.0 has really made me an Alfa fan. I've
always loved italian cars, but the build quality and reliability have
always left me a little worried about owning one. However I decided
to take this car out for a test drive and the 2.0 TS engine was simply
amazing. It was at this point that i finally understood all the fuss
about Alfas. The performance makes you want to take it onto country
lanes at every opportunity. The steering is quick and has a nice direct
feel about it. The cars ability to change directions quickly is excellent.
And luckily there hasnt been any problems with my 146, so I get all
the character without a lot of problems. I would recommended it to anyone.
