Timberland began in 1918, in a small Boston, Massachusetts shoe company where Timberland founder, Nathan Swartz, began his bootmaking career as an apprentice stitcher. In 1973, the Timberland name was born. "Timberland" started as the brand name for our original waterproof leather boot. Then, because the boot was so popular, the company name was officially changed to The Timberland Company.
Timberland due to the rap industry have become a household name with rappers such as Notorious B.I.G and others referring to their "Tims" for short or Timberland boots. Along with this Timberland make very good quality boots, shoes and clothing and these are usually expensive to buy.

I have recently bought a pair of mens Classic 2-eye Timberland Boat Shoes from the Shoe Shop and they are expensive but well worth the price as the quality is great.. These days I have a baby on the way and a mortgage and I felt I needed to grow up a bit and purchase some sensible well designed shoes. As I know Timberland's quality is great there was only one way to go and the shoes I have bought are as ever as good as their boots.

The best of the classic look Timberland boots on the market. The black coloured Timberland Classic rugged boot has a D ring lacing feature for extra grip. The padded ankle is great because again that adds to the comfort and grip. It also has a reinforced toe and heel sections and with them being waterproof they are the perfect work boots. At £ 119.99 I would never consider going to work in them but they are so tough I doubt there would be any problem in wear and tear. These boots will last you a lifetime as my last pair lasted 8 years and are in working order, I just wanted a change from yellow. If you want a top quality pair of boots, it gets no better than Timberland.
