Picked up the car from Edinburgh Airport, picked them mainly because they had a small discount offer by using them in connection with ourairline carrier. Sadly the last time we used them our car was defective, the engine just didnt have much 'pull' up hill. Basically it was a nail, with warning lights appearing on the dash. The car was in need of maintenance, and it was the beginning of the nightmare for a weekend break. We needed to travel 100 miles north of Edinburgh to arrive at our hotel, and by 30 miles we had to call roadside assistance. The customer service was a joke, the women took too long to convince that roadside assistance was needed. They seemed evasive and just didnt wasnt to bother with us. We has a nice weekend break ruined, and received no compensation, never again.

Hired a car from Heathrow last week. The car was a brand new model and drove well. The service was excellent and the price was fairly cheap too. I will certainly hire again from Sixt.
