Silentnight are one of the largest makers for bedroom furniture such as beds and bedding. They currently claim themselves to be biggest brand (in volume) of beds in the UK. The logo of Silentnight is a hippopotamus lounging on a bed, and is recognised by a large proportion of the population. Silentnight have partnerships with hotel chains, and have recently agreed to supply all the beds for the new hotel at the Alton Towers amusement park.
Silentnight are located in Lancashire, and have been making beds for over sixty years. They have made over forty million beds and every day they make an additional two thousand. Silentnight sell their beds in two ways, a third are sold directly to their customers, and the rest are sold by third part retailers.
One of their most popular beds uses the Miracoil spring system and with other features like the utimate 'Pearl' sivan includes a bumper bar. Many beds also come with upholstered drawer fronts with brass effect handles, ultra glide metal runners for drawers, beech effect drawer interiors and ultimate support base cushions. All this helps the mattress support and improves the beds life by up to 50%.

Silentnight Supreme
The mattresses is expensive, but you spend nearly half your life on it, I think it's worth it. The bed was bought beforehand but the mattress that came with it went faulty after a few years so we searched for the perfect mattress alternative. My other half knew about a feature 'no-roll-together' promised on the Silentnight television advert. We find one on ebay for much lower than our local warehouse and it came with an easy to read instruction pamphlet on how to care for your mattress and how to postion it etc. It is a firm mattress but the 'no-roll-together' promise is certainly not a lie.
