The story of New Balance begins at the dawn of the 20th century in Boston, Massachusetts when William J. Riley, a 33-year-old English immigrant, committed himself to helping people with problem feet by making arch supports and prescription footwear to improve shoe fit. In 1961 New Balance manufactured The Trackster, the world's first performance running shoe made with a ripple sole and available in multiple widths.

New Balance 803

I got these running shoes from New Balance mainly to play squash in, but I have found that they are good for all types of activies such as basketball or running as well. It doesn't take long at all to break them in, and it supports your ankle and foot well which is extremely important when playing squash. I would say the New Balance 803 running shoes are the most durable and versatile shoe on the sports shoe market today in the UK and worth your money.
