I have become so dependent on my Natwest student card, and
would not know what to do without it. Its like my best
friend, because it's accepted everywhere and I can therefore
take it everywhere I go. I can go £750 in the red, that's
my limit and it has a minimum repayment of £5 per month
to pay this back. After comparing all the student cards I
think this is the best one, all you need to be is sensible
and make sure you can afford to pay back anything you go into
the red for. The free gift as a sign-up is also very good
and I much prefer taking a card around with me than cash.

I have been a customer of Natwest for around 14 years. From
joining as a student I have since advanced to being accepted
for the premier banking facilities. This also includes a premier
credit card which entities you to rewards like Air Miles.
Another reason I used the credit card was for the 'purchase
protection facility' , it works by refunding you for purchases
which were lost or stolen soon after purchase. I thought this
would work really well because I bought my son a computer
game which was stolen while eating at a food court in a shopping
centre. I eagerly phoned the lost / stolen number hoping for
them to cover my loss. But when I inquired about the protection
the lady on the phone told me it only applied to people who
currently didn't posses home insurance. What a con, who would
have a premier credit card and no home insurance, the odds
are not high. I will not be using the card again.
