User Rating - ............................................................................. Posted on n/a Wow! What a car! OK the fabric covers are a little overdone, well tasteless really, but buy yourself some halfords seat covers! This motor rocks! It has a superb quite, fairly fuel economic engine(I am currently getting 38.4MPG (not bad for a 1.8 16 valve car) and yet if I need it there is plenty of grunt to get out of trouble. It looks fairly unassuming and this adds to its pleasure. When those BMW and Astra drivers try to cut you up at roundabouts, just see the idignation! The only problem I have come across since purchasing the car is that Mitsubishi don't make this version anymore (just ordinary 1.6\'s) and there are no specifications on their website, but if you are lokking for a second hand car that is reliable (don't forget this cars fleet car credentials) and fuel economic, but still fun to drive, get hold of the 1.8, 16 valve version and prepare to amaze yourself (seat covers not included) Four stars (Five with leather trim) Peter User Rating - ...................................................................................................... Posted on n/a Colt Black 1.1 2005 I bought this car after ruling out the usual fords, renaults, peugots and vauxhalls. It came down to the Colt and the Mazda 2 in the end but the Colt won easily on looks. I took the most basic model but had the £500 air con option added. Touch wood I have had 2000 miles of excelent motoring so far. The good points are: It looks good, drives well with perfectly weighted and speed sensitive steering, reassuringly positive breaking, has loads of cabin space, really supportive seating in both front and back, tremondous fuel consumption, great standard equipment, reasonably quck for a 1.1, great vision for rear seat passengers, exclusitivity factor (not seen any others on the road yet) The less good points are: Overall rating: Adrian User Rating - ...................................................................................................... Posted on n/a Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 Di-D LWB The car has a mixture of good and bad points. The engine is excellent giving plenty of torque at low revs and has
a large pulling power through the rev range. Engine noise does suffer
above 60mph, but is not terrible. DAshboard is well laid out and sat
nav is excellent. Space is no problem with a boot like a ford transit.
Rear seats fold up from under the floor(neat trick) and provide room
for two, totalling 7 people. Off road ability is again excellent, thanks
to a new traction control system and stability control. I would strongly
reccomend this car. Adam User Rating - ......................................................................................................
