As new home owners we didnt to do the majority of home DIY ourselves to save on labour costs. We used Machine Mart for the tools we needed. We ordered over the phone using their catalogue. Compared to other catalogues we browsed they seemed to offer good value, we received a great 48 hour delivery, and the items were as described in the catalogue. Even when ordering over the phone, when they said 48 hours delivery, we really did not expect the items to arrive in less than 48 hours. So i have to say they offered a brilliant service. We found them by phone in the yellow pages, they didn't have a local store so ordered a catalogue, and within 2 days our catalogue had been delivered. I We also receive a regular updated newsletter / catalogue through the post (we don't really require this however). The catalogue has around12,000 branded products, so you should easily find the tools needed for any job. I found the required tools needed tof welding, a little metal working and hand power tools for all the basic jobs like drill bits. I also purchased a power drill from their end of line bargains section – I guess i was lucky because they state you have to be quick or miss out. I just wish they had a local store.
