No I do not care if my feet get wet or my shoes get scuffed thankyou very much. I last time I visited Jones I needed some safe and solid work shoes without a heel. My work requires that I am on my feet most of the day, so I was skeptical about wearing the shoes they picked out and recommended for me. Well after a few weeks wearing them everyday, they have been
the most comfortable pair of shoes ever. I cannot fault the
advice of the assistant who was most helpful, when I visit
again I hope they are up to the same high standard. Posted on 17 / 02 / 2006 Yes the best part of visiting Jones the Bootmaker is the
good helpful service. While the service is good the shoes
themselves can be a little pricey. And like the previous reviewer
they always try to sell me shoe trees or some kind of add-on.
If I want one I will ask for one. This is the only criticism
of the sales staff however, apart from this they are really
helpful. Whenever you are there time is never a issue and
they will explain the shoes pros and cons. For example I was
looking for some formal shoes for work, and the sales assistant
advised that soft leather was not a good idea, because they
would crease with time. This of course would not present a
professional appearance with a formal suit. This level of
assistance is not found elsewhere. Excellent.
