We dont have a local John Lewis store where we live. So it was the first time i had shopped at John Lewis. My first impressions were of a posh store, and not fit for my purse. After shopping online my viewpoint has changed somewhat. I now shop with them now and again, although John Lewis are mainly for special occasions and gifts. I first shopped online when I received a John Lewis £10 gift voucher, which gave me £10 off my first order of £20 or more. What i liked about ordering online was the ability to choose a delivery date, and a full refund on items purchased and sent back within 28 days. I would rate JL as a slightly upbeat and upmarket Marks And Spencer's.

Unfortunately the John Lewis Partnership do not have stores in every town or city. What sets them apart from other department stores is the extensive product range and the quality of the products. Apart from the like of Harrods, very few other stores can match them. The customer service and delivery is top notch, and with other 18 online orders they have never let me down. They have a no quibble returns policy. The only limit being a 28 day receipt restriction. So dont decide to leave it 3 months. Compared to the high street store, the online shop is far from comprehensive, but it does contain all their best sellers and ranges.

The John Lewis store in Sheffield is named Cole Brothers, The interior and products are all John Lewisand therefore the items are of the highest quality. Only once have I had to retutn an item of clothing due to shrinkage, and the staff were still really helpful and refunded my money. The store also allows you to purchase school uniforms for most school in the Sheffield area, which is a useful feature. Only recently did I decide to make a purchase via the web. As always with John Lewis, the goods arrived promptly and the packaging was in perfect condition.

John Lewis linen
I took the advice of this page and visted the John Lewis sales, they offered a large selection of products. Good prices and the site was easy to use and checkout. They also had very pleasant customer service when I called to check on order. The product arrived quickly and was just as described. I'll definitely be using this company again, they've made me a customer!
