James Villa Holidays was began in nineteen eighty four. The company has developed into one of the largest suppliers of packaged villa holidays. James Villa hand pick their portfolio of villas and sell their accommodation directly to the public. They do not currently use third parties to resell on their behalf.
They state, unlike larger tour operators, they visit every property added to their portfolio. Health and safety is of primary concern, and is near the top of their check list for addition of a new villa to their portfolio.
Their properties are usually situated near the Mediterranean, the most popular locations are the Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Costa Blanca, Andalucia, Costa Calida, Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz. A villa can cost from as little as three hundred pounds.
Some other locations of note include Corfu, Skopelos, Lefkas, Rhodes, Brittany, Silver Coast, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Cyprus, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily, Marrakech and Peloponnese.

We looked for a location that provided solitude and a comfortable and hospitable local population. After visiting many different websites we found the perfect Algarve location from James Villa. It allowed us to explore the local countryside and the lakes, and with no mobile signal it as a week of absolute bliss. My wife and young family also loved the location, because it was situated not too far from a very quiet village, and also next to a working farm. This meant we had our solitude, but also some local shops and bars to keep our larder stocked up. We went in late spring time and it was without doubt a magical time of year to visit. The owners of the farm adjacent to our villa allowed our children to participate in feeding the newly born orphan lambs. This was a real highlight of the break, the kids absolutely loved it and it was a treat to watch. I would book up again today, as our villa was in the perfect location, which allowed us to explore the wonderful surroundings.
