We chose a villa with James Villas because we were looking for a location that provided solitude and a comfortable and hospitable local population. After visiting many different websites we found the perfect Algarve location from James Villas. It allowed us to explore the local countryside and the lakes, and with no mobile signal it as a week of absolute bliss. My wife and young family also loved the location, because it was situated not too far from a very quiet village, and also next to a working farm. This meant we had our solitude, but also some local shops and bars to keep our larder stocked up. We went in late spring time and it was without doubt a magical time of year to visit. The owners of the farm adjacent to our villa allowed our children to participate in feeding the newly born orphan lambs. This was a real highlight of the break, the kids absolutely loved it and it was a treat to watch. I would book up again today, as our villa was in the perfect location, which allowed us to explore the most perfect surrounding.
