I usually stay at Hilton hotels while traveling on early morning flights. They always seem to have hotels situated at the major UK airports, and they provide pretty good value for money, with nice airy clean rooms. My latest stay was at their hotel adjacent to East Midlands airport, and the staff were friendly and served great food from evening carvery restaurant. I didn't try a bar meal this time, but on my previous stay the bar prices were a little on the expensive side. A nice relaxing atmosphere, with a professional you can guarantee will be problem free. Their bar and meal prices are a little steep, but it seems all hotels based at airports charge a little more. It's somewhat like the motorway service stations.
