I ordered a wooden adventure playground centre for my daughter's
birthday it just never turned up at my home in Wales. I phoned
them and they said it had left the warehouse, I phoned them
again and they said it had ended up back at the warehouse.
Therefore they sent it out again and promised it will turn
up in time for my daughter's birthday. But when it arrived
I found the centre was damaged and all the packaging was ripped
open. Obviously something serious had happened on the first
journey to cancel it's arrival, what I can't believe is that
they didn't sort the problem out but just sent it again in
the obviously the same condition. I really was expecting more
from this world famous toy shop, especially considering the
inflated price I paid. Hamleys need to take a serious look
at their stock before sending it from the warehouse. The only
good point I could say it that their website is easy to look
at.

Whilst on a city break in London recently I popped into Hamley's
for a couple of presents for my children who were expecting
a gift when I returned home. I spent around half an hour of
total joy in the store, it's a real fun-filled palace, with
five fantastic floors with wonderful interiors and helpful
well trained staff. God only knows how long we would have
spent in there with out children.
