V. poor site, spent the good part of two hours surfing without
being able to place an order.
The major problem I came across was thus, they have a chronic lack
of stock, and their contact details are woeful with just an email
form, I have yet to receive a response to requests for stock information.
The site is also far too small in design, the text is far from clear
and the whole design does not even fill half my screen. I came across
quite a few access denied error messages, the page loadup is slow,
and the complicated nature of the site makes for a long-winded navigation.
From my naive understanding it seems you can not order for the
Evans site, just view items you to add to a wish list and then visit
a Evans store for purchase. I have emailed them to clarify this
point as I found the site unclear, but the site says they cannot
give any information on stock, so browsing became a complete waste
of time in my honest opinion.
The only plus point I could give the website is that the sections
are broken down into manageable chunks, at least they split the
tops from the dresses for example. But even here there is a problem,
say I browse tops then you are presented with over 40 pages. They
only display four or five items a page which is the major error,
with ten items a page browsing would be less long-winded.
Out of all the major fashion chains this site is the worst I've
visited.
