Machine does not do what it says on the box. Doesn't pick up dog hairs (beagle), dreadful on stairs, taking all the bits apart to try to vacuum under the bed is a pain, constantly looses suction, very bulky too use, awful machine.

Customer service is non-existant. Motor went 1 week before warranty expired - rang to book an engineer and was asked what times the engineer should avoid (like school runs) and guess what, that's when they turn up!!! When you ring to complain they rebook an appointment but cannot assure you that an engineer will not turn up during school run hours again - what is the point of asking what times the engineers should avoid! You can't speak to a manager as it's company policy not to give out manager's names. I have spent a fortune on phone calls and I still cannot get to speak to a manager.

Mr Dyson, you should be ashamed that your company operates this this. I will never buy a Dyson again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Overhyped and overpriced.

I've owned quite a few so called wonder vacuums with all the fancy bells and whistles over the years. I started a cleaning service a few years ago and finally bought the perfect vacuum cleaner. The Dyson DC07. That's one great "high performance" machine. Going from one surface to the next without pushing anything. On stairs just leave it at the bottom and that hose stretches to the top and then some. It was about $400 but that was the best investment I've made in a long time.
