After receiving a couple of substandard cameras free with my new
desktop, and secondly a laser printer I decided to get something
half decent.
After reading which? and a couple of other publications they rated
a fuji and casio exilim ex-v7 highly, and browsed around and pc
world actually had this exact model from casio for nearly half price
in a seasonal sale.
Picture quality is great, the only time it failed me was during
poor light conditions after a football match, when my daughter wished
to have her picture taken with a few of the players.
One tip however, make sure you buy a rechargeable battery pack,
I was going through duracells every other week. The rechargeable
charge whilst the camera is connected to my PC via the usb cable.

I ordered the FX85 ES calc from amazon.co.uk when my texas instruments
business edge calc broke a few weeks before my A level exams. It
cost £4.20, but I ordered a couple of dvd's as well, so that
I could get free delivery. The display is clear, manual informative,
handy for students because it shows all the workings out on screen
like a text book would. There is a total of two lines for calculations,
and produces square roots, fractional answers, all of which is perfectly
precise. The buttons are well laid out, clear to read. A great calc
for the money.
