We have just come back from Cadbury World which had been
billed as the ultimate chocolate experience. This
leaflet outlining the new centre describes it as a unique
chocolate concept and Cadbury said it cost them approximately
six million pounds to design and then of course build. It's
not exactly Alton Towers for the kids, but it's informative
and good fun and allows the visitor to discover the history,
the making of chocolate throughout the years. I think younger
children will not enjoy this much as the history of chocolate
is a little dry on content, but there is a Childrens
Play Area to keep them motivated. It costs Adult: £8.50
and Child: £6.40, and will keep you entertained for
a full afternoon I think.

People in Europe would not even class Cadbury as chocolate.
I think you EU court wanted them classed as vegetable fat
bars or something, and I will not disagree. I was a fan of
Cadbury and enjoyed most of their bars, even if I got bored
of there only being Cadbury for sale at any location. But
recently I have begun to eat more expensive quality chocolate
from various companies. And to be honest when you try Cadbury
again it's a poor substitute. You can taste the lack of *real*
chocolate, and that it's been thinly watered down by something
else, I guess it's vegetable fat. Alongside the news that
due to contamination Cadbury had to recall more than one million
chocolate, random tests that revealed both total coliform
and E. coli bacteria. After this health scare I am not eating
Cadbury again.
