A few weeks ago when spent a saturday afternoon checking all popular high street warehouse stores for a large American side by side fridge freezer. We did not really find anything suitable, most of the fridges we looked over seemed poor quality, were sadly well over priced and worst of all were sold by staff who were totally disinterested. The last resort to find what we wanted was to on the Internet. Be-Direct were one of the few retailers who actually stocked American style freezers, and after reading they have been in business since the 1950's I felt reassured they were not cowboys. In the end we decided on the Electrolux ENL6298K side by side black cabinet freezer and began ordering online. Unlike any other retailer, apparantly they give a phone call the next day confirming my order. They are meant to helpfully also provide an arrival date.

Bedirect can be found using the comparison service Kelkoo (they advertise on tv). I was only looking for a Creative mp3 player for a birthday, and Bedirect could save me nearly £10 off the high street price. The site design is pretty basic and standard, with a simple menu system which made it easy to find stuff. But because I used Kelkoo it landed made exactly on the product page I needed. It was a matter of a few clicks and filling my details out and the order was finished. Bedirect also are meant to phone to confirm the order, due to secure online transactions and such like I prefer not to have to validate all my online orders by phone. I just want to receive my order with the minimal hassle. Excellent savings, but the confirmation phone call could be a hassle.
